DIY Succulent Valentines Gift

It’s officially Valentines month and although I don’t love all the commercialized aspects of it, I do love to celebrate friendship and love and all the things in between! So I teamed up with my dear friend Emily at Handmade Farmhouse to bring you an easy DIY you can gift family, friends, teachers, etc! Keep reading to learn more!. Mine is all about succulents! We will call this DIY I’m a succa for love!

This DIY is SO easy and inexpensive to make too! I just bought these cute little succulents at the store for $5 each. There’s succulents usually at Home Depot, or the grocery store! Most come in cute containers too!

SUPPLIES NEEDED

  1. Succulents ( desired amount)

  2. Printed tags ( you can download them below)

  3. Cardstock ( Unless you print directly onto it)

  4. Ribbon, or twine, rope, anything you’d like to tie with.

  5. Hole punch

  6. Tape and scissors

HOW TO:

This is so simple to make!! Simply print your tags and cut to desired length. If you’ve already printed oncardstock simply punch a hole at the top. If you are attaching to yardstick, attach and tape, then punch hole at the top.

Cut your twine and loop around succulent plant. You can even write a little note on the back of the tag to whomever you are gifting to.

I think these are so sweet and cute and I am so grateful to my friend Emily for the idea! Ava loved “ helping” me and it’s a great activity for a 1.5 year old. Does not take a lot of time and is not messy!

I absolutely LOVE everything BLOOMIST has and they have the best natural twine stand with cutter which I used for this project. IF you’re looking for a wonderful Valentines gift for the gardener in your life, I have linked it and a few other of my favorite items they have.

Download the FREE printable below and please let me know if you make it! Can’t wait to see yours! Be sure to checkout my friend Emily’s amazing DIY as well! I’m sure you’ll love her as much as I do.
